Every real story has protagonists capable of making a difference.
The Suber Project was conceived and implemented by a team of industry experts led by Carlos Veloso dos Santos, the AD of Amorim Cork Italia, who took up a great challenge: to create a revolutionary interior design project focused on ethical and environmental sustainability.

AD of Amorim Cork Italy - Founder of the Suber Project

Born in Lisbon, Carlos Veloso dos Santos has grown up in Africa, Portugal and Italy. He is a “revolutionary” and visionary entrepreneur who, in 2011, conceived and promoted the Ethical Project from which SUBER was born; it’s a collection of high design objects which combine environmental sustainability with social and economic sustainability in the name of cork.

Suber Designer and Artistic Director

Jari Franceschetto, a talented Sardinian designer, is the artistic director of the Suber Collection and the founder of the AJF/design studio. Graduated from the IUAV, the University of Architecture of Venice, he carries out planning, research and strategic consulting activities. Many of his works have received awards and have been published in major magazines. In addition to his professional practice, he also dedicates himself to theoretical and cultural activities as well as training.
